Free Vintage Mother's Day Ephemera

While I'm posting this for possible Mother's Day cards and projects, the Edwardian post cards can be used for other things as well. I hope you have fun using them for your personal projects.

While the above post cards are in the public domain, the following two vintage cards are mid-20th century and may or may not be still under copyright. I'm posting them for enjoyment and inspiration.

Windows OS users: left click on the image and choose "Save image as ...", change the file name to something that makes sense to you and then save it your chosen file saving place.

Apple OS users: hold the Control key while clicking on the image and choose "Save image as ...", change file name and save to chosen file.

Free Vintage Spring Flower Ephemera

In honor of Earth Day, I thought I'd share some vintage post cards from my collection that feature spring flowers. Have fun using them for your personal projects!

Free Vintage Easter Ephemera!

Here are some images from my personal collection for you to use. They all predate 1923 so they are in public domain. 

These little duckies were done after 1923 so copyright may or may not be in effect but they are so cute, I thought I'd share them for reference and inspiration.

(The translation via Google is: Your heart is my property; I offer mine. My take on this literal translation is: Your heart belongs to me; I offer mine. It means the same but sounds nicer.)

Free Christmas Ephemera Images

Here are some pictures from my personal vintage post card collection. I left the text on three of the cards but also did some pixel "erasing" so you can put in your own message or use them as place cards or gift tags.

This is the color of the original post card but in case you like the image but not the background color, I did some editing for a white background below.

There is still some of the pinky-peach hue in the mistletoe but I don't feel it's too distracting.

In case you don't know how to download and save the images on your own computer, here's how you do it. If you have a Windows operating system, right click on the image and choose "Save image as..." and then change the file name to something that makes sense to you and choose where you want to save it. Done! If you have and Apple operating system, the only thing that is different is that you hold the Control key and click on the image. It's been a couple years since my beloved Mac died but I believe you can also just click and drag the image to where you want it saved, but I'm not certain. If you have a Linux operating system, you already know what to do.

Pansies! (and Free Ephemera!)

I love pansies! I love that they self seed all over my garden and every spring I enjoy finding where they were able to hold their ground.

The ones in the sidewalk I just leave because they're too hard to transplant. The ones that come up in the lawn I transplant into my gardens but sometimes it becomes too fiddly and I just leave them. Yes, I continue to cut the lawn and lopping off their flowered heads and they continue to grow and flower. They also show up in the containers I use to grow vegetables. These I definitely plant in my gardens in different "pansy free" areas to encourage more self seeding for the next year.

In honor of my pansy friends, here are some free ephemera images for you to use. Have fun!
